*Seminar - Managing Effective Study Techniques*
A seminar on the topic *Managing Effective Study Techniques* with the objective of *Empowering students with the state of art educational and learning techniques for their optimal performance in exams* was successfully conducted at JNV Gandhinagar by Our Alumni of JNV Porbandar *Anuragbhai Lakhlani*, with the support from Principal sir of JNVG, Teachers, team JAAG(JNV Alumni Association of Gandhinagar) and team AAN (Alumni Association of Navodaya - Gujarat).

Programme was started at 4 :00 pm with the lightning of lamp, in the mess hall of JNVG , Warm welcome of speaker was done by principal sir of JNVG by giving bouquet.
Seminar was started by Anuragbhai Lakhlani, of two sessions with an interval of 10 minutes and it was concluded at 6:30pm.
Students from class 6th to 12th were very enthusiastic till last minute,Anurag lakhani sir has clarified learning tactic using some historical story illustration. Even students from class 6 were coming forward for demonstration. Vote of thanks were given by Chandan sir (PGT Hindi) and momento was given to Anuragbhai nd Anupambhai by JAAG, as a token of Thanks. JAAG gifted a pack of *One handheld Dynamic Transmitter, One body pack transmitter and two channel receiver [1 collar mic and cod less mic]* to school.

Rules

My house mother
when i taken admission in navodaya my handwriting was like hell even"kidi-makoda"shapes good in front of my handwriting... Even i can't read what i had written 😅 ..... At that time our house mother started conducting weekly tests at girls dormitory our seniors started checking our tests paper... And an expected thing happened with my handwriting 😞 they have complained about my pathetic handwriting to house mother ... Mam also were shocked to see my "kidi makoda" (as she has very good handwriting as pearls)she gave me punishment to write one paragraph daily from English reader or supplementary....(no one has dare to denied her punishment at that time no matter how hard it is).. And i started my daily business with lazy heart..... I was improving day by day......... I show my handwriting notebook to my parents they really surprised to see that because they had tried lot over it...... But "laato ke bhoot baato se nahi mante"😆 my so called improved handwriting becomes example for many other who are in my category of bad handwriting... Due to me they also become victim of so called punishment
so instead of checking only mine handwriting book mam started checking 2dozen handwriting books... At the end my handwriting become so beautiful to see nd to read also 😊 due to good handwriting my teachers able to read what i had written over and i started scoring good marks.....

when i visited navodaya on previous day of alumni function i and one of my friend observed one boy who was writing"word of the day" from notice board in his book...
we called him and saw his book... He used to write it daily nd it becomes his daily business..... We notice his handwriting that was so impressive....
guess what!!! That boy is mam's son...i nd my friend amazed to see that.....,
at that time i feel that house mother of more than 40 girls is same as mother of one boy....
i confess that incident of improving handwriting is become great milestone in my lifetime........ My every writing says thankyou to my house mother cm mother.......

Offcourse laxmi mam
Perhaps I ws in the top ten list of students..who got most bitting from mam...mostly coz in the night study I ws d fst one to doze off...n she used to mk me murga..well I used to feel worst...but aftetwards I got mam's favourite n mam become my most favourite. ..n yah I remember I complained about( I know who) gals planning to run from hostel..n yah..for this I got blamed too...but in the end mam moulded me in awesm way..

My Maths Teacher
I never liked Maths like many out there, I hardly try learning Maths, and as we all know most of the teachers focus only on those students who are good in that subject. But this teacher my Maths ma'am, she is an exception. She trusted me more than myself. It was her confidence in me which made me to learn Maths. Many times I was like, Its not my cup of tea, but she was confident that I will get it. She always expected me to do much better than what I do. She gave me that motherly feeling, I still remember that she was upset (though I was quite satisfied) and personally remember my marks in 10th, I took Hindi and She was like "U r really good in Maths, " Kyum Hindi lia" and again when I got very less marks in my 1st pre - boards of 12th, She personally called me to her room, asked me ,that what was the reason of my performance going down, yeah She was worried like a Mother , infact more than that. That made me to study and I got double marks in my 2nd pre- boards than first. I am really Thankful to her for showing that confident in me. This is what require from every teacher,in only Navodaya we can get such teachers.
