Celebration of World Storytelling Day by members of the Chennai Storytellers group, Sunday 23rd March, Anna Centenary Library!

All are invited! Free admission.

We are thrilled to invite you to celebrate World Storytelling Day with us on Sunday 23rd March at Anna Centenary Library (First Floor, Children's Section), Kotturpuram, 10am to 6pm.

This full-day event will feature engaging Storytellings and Storytelling-related Workshops for all age groups.

Program:

10am to 11am: Padmapriya Suresh, Storytelling/Workshop.
1am to 12pm: Vineetha CB and Kausalya Pari, Storytelling/Workshop.
12pm to 12:10pm: Eric Miller, Storytelling.
12:10pm to 12:40pm: Sheettal Rayathatha, A Talk on Chennai Storytellers.
12:40pm to 1pm: Soorya Gayatri, Storytelling.
1pm to 2pm: Renu Mira, Workshop (Tamil Language).
2pm to 3pm: Vasugi Ram Manohar, Storytelling/Workshop.
3pm to 4pm: Shyama Sridharan and Sophie Augustina, Storytelling/Workshop.
4pm to 5pm: Geethanjali Javid and Zarin M, Storytelling/Workshop.
5pm to 6pm: Renu Mira, Storytelling/Talk (Tamil Language).

What an amazing Synergy Summit it was!! Kickstarted the session with a fun Ice Breaker, which had all the members collectively creating a story.

Shared a story for matured audiences, which she had penned herself, followed by some constructive feedback by Sridevi Srinivasan .

Alvin - Storyteller shared An Anecdote, which had us in splits which he calls as the Mt. Everest of Embarrassments! While we could all enjoy his piece it was also a great motivational incident about grabbing second chances when they come your way!

shared some informative resources which was well structured- age and category wise.

narrated a STEM story for younger audiences, with props, expressions and high energy! shared her feedback on the same.

The summit concluded with Being Alive - A segment on What works for Me! by Mohan Krishnan. A very lively one with some fun banter, singing and life lessons on being alive and in the present.

And all of these were strung together by our host , who concluded the summit on a high note.

We are already looking forward to the December edition of the Synergy Summit.

Dear Taletellers,

November is almost coming to an end and our Monthly Meet up - Synergy Summit is here as well.

We have a good mix of new and old tellers presenting at the Summit this month. While some will share stories & feedback, others an interesting Anecdote.

We have some fun Ice Breakers and informative Story Resources lined up too!

One could also get some insights on What Works and what not for a teller and trainer, which will not only be interesting to listen to but will give you fodder to ponder over!
