Back to basics and back to shooting 35mm Analog...
Finally shot a colour film roll 500T on Nikon FM10 and I love the richness and the colours.
A quick glimpse into my short visit to Madurai a few months ago
Madurai is not just a city. It is an emotion and a living embodiment of divinity and tradition.
The Meenakshi Amman Temple, at the heart of Madurai, is more than just a sacred space; it is the soul of the city. I spent a few hours at the entrance of the temple observing the vendors and the devotees. Amidst these scenes, you often find groups of Swami Ayyappan devotees, instantly recognisable by their attires, malas and barefoot, as a part of their pilgrimage vows. The vibrant scene is a blend of spirituality and culture.
Vendors who line the temple's entrance are a vital part of this dynamic, adding color and life to the sacred space. These vendors, often locals whose families have been selling their wares for generations, offer a range of items that cater to the needs of devotees and tourists alike.
