Martin Klebba – the scene-stealing star of Pirates of the Caribbean, Van Helsing, Jurassic World and Snow White! 🎬🏴☠️🔥
Born on June 23, 1969, in Troy, Michigan, Martin Klebba has built a distinctive career as both an actor and stunt performer. After growing up in Michigan and graduating from Athens High School, he began establishing himself on screen with appearances in films including Planet of the Apes (2001), Corky Romano (2001), How High (2001), Death to Smoochy (2002), Men in Black II (2002) and Cradle 2 the Grave (2003).
His most famous role arrived in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), where he played Marty, one of the memorable members of Captain Jack Sparrow’s crew. Klebba returned as Marty in Dead Man’s Chest (2006), At World’s End (2007) and Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), making him a familiar face throughout the blockbuster franchise. Klebba’s career has stretched across fantasy, horror, comedy and major studio adventures. His credits include The Haunted Mansion (2003), Van Helsing (2004), Hancock (2008), Mirror Mirror (2012), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), The Bag Man (2014), Ted 2 (2015) and Jurassic World (2015), where his performance work helped bring the Dimorphodon sequence to life. He also appeared as Captain in Viy 2: Journey to China, released internationally under titles including Iron Mask.
Television audiences may also recognise him as Randall Winston from Scrubs, alongside appearances in Charmed, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Bones, Pair of Kings and The Cape. His connection to the Snow White story spans decades: he portrayed Friday in Snow White: The Fairest of Them All (2001) and later provided the voice and facial performance for Grumpy in Disney’s Snow White (2025). More recently, Klebba contributed motion-capture work as Herman, the Milkman Bot, in The Electric State (2025), continuing a career that has allowed him to move between traditional acting, stunt work, creature performances and motion capture.
From Marty and Randall Winston to Grumpy, the Dimorphodon and countless memorable supporting characters, Martin Klebba has spent more than two decades bringing personality, physicality and unmistakable energy to some of Hollywood’s biggest productions.
