Ministry of Textiles had organized the Atmanirbhar Bharat Utsav at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Nesco Centre, Western Express Highway, Goregaon (East), Mumbai from 14-02-2024 to 19-02-2024.
In this program, Handloom Development Commissioner Mrs. Dr. Beena, Mrs Rita Prem Hemrajni Managing Director National handloom development corporation of India, Shri Hemant Gupta sir director weavers service centre Mumbai zone,Shri Jawaharlal Kunsoth, Director weavers service centre West zone, Shri Jitendra Purohit Sir, deputy general manager Finance (NHDC), and Shri Varun Chaddha Head, and other eminent personalities were present.
It was attended by 150 participants from handloom and handicrafts.We also got a chance to sell our goods there.
Various interactive sessions, workshops, seminars etc. were organized during the inaugural ceremony.
We also got a chance to speak in the sessions, Only 4 names were selected for the sessions, One of which was my name.
I talked about these main issues there Starting a business and Main points related to this, Brief history before involvement in handloom industry, Challenges encountered during the journey, Types of assistance received from the government, talked about etc.
