Look at these hands. Dirty, dry, rough hands, working tirelessly throughout hours from dawn to dusk for livelihood.
Mohammad, an artist (what he appears to me), a craftsman making souvenirs for tourists coming to visit famous tourist spot (Patnitop, in Ramban district of Jammu division of J&K state).
He just made a keychain for me as per my demand costing just ₹30/-. Yes, even i was surprised, when he replied "tees rupiye beta" to my question,"yeh keychain kitney ka bech rhe ho?".
I sensed his " accent & my inquisitiveness overpowered my brain, i enquired to him in Kashmiri," are you a kashmiri?"
He surprisingly replied with a positive nod, "yes i am".
To which i responded instantly with my broken kashmiri accent,"Mahra bey tey (me too)".
Our conversation continued with already heard stories of brotherhood back then before exodus (1989-90) between Kashmiri Pandits & Muslims in Kashmir.
An hour just felt like smoked in air so quickly & he made it for me, crafted, painted, polished. Saw his efforts & was like bro he's a pro (in my mind).
He was genuine & kind with his words. Without revealing to him about me being a local, he asked a genuine price for his craft.
He even asked me, what would you like to be written on it? To which i replied,"anything you wish, should be written on this piece of Walnut Wooden Oval ball type keychain".
I was touched when i saw what he painted & wrote on it.
It was "Home" written on it with representation too.
His words while handing it over to me were "panun gov panuney" (our dear ones are our own people).

I loved the concept:

There are four Yugas widely accepted in Hinduism.
They are :
1. Satyayug
2. Tretayug (Ramayana)
3. Dwaparayug (Mahabharata)
4. Kalyug(Present)

In Satyayug, the fight was between two worlds (Devalok & Asuralok). Asuralok being the evil, was a different WORLD.

In Tretayug, the fight was between Rama and Ravana. Both rulers from two different COUNTRIES.

In Dwaparayug, the fight was between Pandavas and Kauravas. Both good and evil from the SAME FAMILY.

Kindly note how the evil is getting closer. For example, from a DIFFERENT WORLD to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY to the SAME FAMILY.

Now, know where is the evil in Kalyug???

It is inside us. Both GOOD AND EVIL LIVE WITHIN. The battle is within us. Who will we give victory to, our inner goodness or the evil within??

Think, identify and fight.
