CALL FOR SOUTHEAST ASIAN PARTICIPANTS
This third edition of CÉRIUM's summer school in Southeast Asia will be an opportunity to explore and understand three socio-political challenges that define the Southeast Asian region: forms of governance, the participation of citizen groups in the political life, and the recognition of minority rights.
This course welcomes Asian graduate students, advanced undergraduates, young academics, and professionals with an interest in Southeast Asia as regional studies. A total of 12 seats are available for application. Successful candidates will join a group of 30 participants from Canada.
Tuition fees for Southeast Asian participants will be waived. A stipend of 500$ CAD will be granted to Southeast Asian participants outside of the Philippines (to help with flight and accommodation costs) and 250$ CAD for Filipino students residing outside of Metro Manila.
To apply for the Summer School, please send a CV, a cover letter, and a true copy of grades from a college or university to [email protected] by May 10th, 2025.
