Bangalore Dreams, released on Tala Root Records, presents a reimagined soundscape by the Jyotsna Carnatic Jazz Trio. The composition reflects the sonic and emotional essence of Bangalore, blending the structural depth of Carnatic music with the spontaneity of
improvisation.

This release marks the debut of the trio on the label and signals the evolution of the Bangalore Dreams EP into a live performance project. Further recordings, releases and tours are scheduled in the near future.

Parabhava Nāma Samvatsara, the 40th year in the traditional 60-year cycle, begins today, March 19, 2026, marking Ugadi and the start of a new spiritual journey that continues into 2027.

While “Parabhava” is often understood as defeat, its deeper significance is far more profound—it represents the overcoming of our inner weaknesses: ego, pride, arrogance, and selfishness.
