এক বর্ষার রাতে, রাহুল শেষ বাসে করে গ্রামের বাড়ি ফিরছিল।

বাসে আর মাত্র তিনজন যাত্রী ছিল। বাইরে ঝড় আর বৃষ্টির শব্দ।

হঠাৎ একটি নির্জন স্টপেজে সাদা শাড়ি পরা এক মহিলা বাসে উঠলেন।

তিনি এসে রাহুলের পাশের সিটে বসলেন। কিন্তু আশ্চর্যের বিষয়, তার শরীর ভিজে ছিল না!

রাহুল ভয়ে কিছু বলল না।

কিছুক্ষণ পর মহিলা ধীরে ধীরে বললেন,

👻 মহিলা: "এই রাস্তার শেষ বাড়িটা চেনো?"

রাহুল বলল, "হ্যাঁ, ওখানে তো কেউ থাকে না।"

মহিলা মৃদু হেসে বললেন,

👻 মহিলা: "আমি থাকতাম..."

এ কথা বলেই তিনি জানালার দিকে তাকালেন।

পরের স্টপেজে বাস থামতেই মহিলা অদৃশ্য!

রাহুল আতঙ্কে কন্ডাক্টরকে জিজ্ঞেস করল।

কন্ডাক্টর কাঁপা গলায় বলল,

"পাঁচ বছর আগে ওই বাড়ির এক মহিলা এই রাস্তায় দুর্ঘটনায় মারা গিয়েছিল। প্রতি বর্ষার রাতে নাকি তাকে দেখা যায়..."

বাসের জানালায় তাকিয়ে রাহুল দেখল—

দূরে অন্ধকারে সেই মহিলা দাঁড়িয়ে আছে...

আর তার মুখে ভয়ঙ্কর হাসি!
