Geetu Mohandas has had an incredible journey in the film industry, transforming from a beloved child star into a powerful director. During the early 2000s, she ruled the Malayalam film industry as a top leading actress, earning the Best Actress award for her beautiful performance in the 2004 movie Akale. After reaching the peak of her acting career, she bravely stepped behind the camera to become a filmmaker. She quickly proved her incredible talent by directing highly praised, award-winning independent films like Liar's Dice and Moothon. Now, she is taking her biggest leap yet by directing Toxic, a massive gangster movie starring superstar Yash, proving that the former queen of Kerala cinema is ready to conquer the entire Indian film industry.
