🌿 My first-ever Warli Art Workshop — and what a weekend it was! 🎨

What started as a little idea to teach the art form I love turned into 30 wonderful participants joining me from across India and around the world. ❤️

Over two days, we explored the visual language of Warli, its storytelling traditions, and created our own Tarpa Dance composition together.

But what made this weekend truly special was seeing everyone experiment, ask questions, share their sketches and finally create something of their own. And the messages I received afterwards honestly made all the preparation worth it. 🥹❤️

“Very calming session.”
“Loved the way you patiently explained each and every step.”
“You make folk art so easy to understand.”
“Looking forward to more!”

Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their weekend and joined me for this first step into teaching. 🌿

This is just the beginning of my journey from sharing Indian folk art through my content to creating spaces where we can learn, create and experience it together.

Which Indian folk art would you love to learn next? 👇

For State #14, we are diving deep into the majestic world of Tanjore Art from Tamil Nadu. 📍For creating this painting, I used Ceramic Paste to sculpt that heavy, traditional 3D relief work, followed by the incredibly meticulous process of Gold Foil Gilding. ✨
14 states are officially on the map! Which state or folk art should I explore next? Drop your votes below! 👇
