ವಿನಾಶದ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರ ದೇವಾಲಯ.
ಆನೇಕಲ್ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಜಿಗಣಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರ ಕಾಲದ ವರದರಾಜ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಇಂದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಪಾಳುಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವು ಭೂಗಳ್ಳರು ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಇಡೀ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನೇ ನಿರ್ನಾಮ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಜಿಗಣಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ನೂರಾರು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿವೆ. CSR ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೆ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲಾಖೆ ಇತ್ತ ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ.
