NEW BUSINESS: Wear It / Bedrock Studios has opened in Eclectic Avenue. Founded by Michelle O’Neill, the space brings together her own Wear It range alongside Bedrock Studios, a rotating artist showcase giving local artists a place to exhibit their work in Wexford Town. Every four weeks, five artists get the chance to show their work on the walls, and for many of them, it is their first time exhibiting.
Michelle spent years travelling the world as an Olympic and World Cup referee, but every time she came home and saw the Wexford skyline, she knew she was home. That connection became part of her own work, turning Wexford landmarks and skylines into wearable art. Now, with Fiona involved in Bedrock Studios, the space has grown into something that gives other artists a chance to be seen too.
A new creative space in the middle of Eclectic Avenue, and that has been built around local art and makers and giving people a chance to show what they can do.
A lovely addition to Wexford Town and definitely worth calling into, well done ladies!!
