Are you a singer, a member of a choir or someone who loves to sing? Would you like to improve your breath control when singing?

Do you run out of air easily?
Would you like to learn how to breathe correctly and use the entire vocal instrument when singing.
Does your shoulders rise when you sing? Does your voice tire easily?
do you get a sore throat when you sing?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of the questions above this is the morning workshop for you!

Learn to free the voice. As choral singers and soloists we need to build up stamina singing, on this morning workshop we will explore the basic fundalmentals of correct vocal technique for the singer. It will be a day of learning and putting all you learn into practice to help you develop your vocal health.

Who will facilitate the course?
Rachel O Brien who first and foremost is a singing teacher specialising in vocal pedagogy in her music Degree at MtU cork school of music. She is also a choral conductor and musical director. Rachel has more than 25 years of experience working with singers and choirs. She is conductor of the_sonatinas_choir The Hill Harmonics Choir The City of Cork Male Voice Choir & The Showstoppers along with two children’s choirs.
