Delighted that one of my recent works has found a beautiful new home. It features the Carlisle Bridge in the People’s Park in Waterford which dates back to 1857. I’m so glad I captured its rustiness before it had a contemporary upgrade.

‘Still Standing’, oil on canvas, 104x104cm. My largest piece to date-really enjoyed the challenge of painting this beautiful tree. It has been on my ‘To Do’ list for a very long time but a recent visit to Dunmore East spurned me on. Believe this Monterey Pine was planted as an ornamental tree in the 19th Century and it’s still standing. It’s a beautiful tree, stoic and elegant with its long needles & very large cone pines. Yet another landmark for Waterford.

‘White Hydrangeas in a Vase.’ I love looking at hydrangeas particularly this time of year and we’ve a few bushes in our garden. They come in all shapes & colours - there’s something pleasing about their roundness. Original painting in oils, 75x75cm framed.
