PALs (Physical Activity Leaders) is an initiative that supports older people to develop the skills and confidence to lead sport and physical activity sessions within their local groups and communities.

The PALs Introduction Day is a great opportunity for groups to find out more about the PALs initiative and see what it is all about.

As part of the day, there is a great opportunity for 1–2 members of your group to learn and develop their skills in a range of Active Age games, including Malai (Co****le), Scidil (Skittles) and Flisk.

Lawn Bowls continues each Wednesday from 2pm - 4pm at Strokestown Community & Sports Centre. 🙌

On next Wednesday 8th July a short meeting will be held at 4pm to form a Bowling Club to bring this relaxing activity to a higher level.

This years Roscommon Sports Partnership Rockets Camp will be held at Strokestown Community & Sports Centre, F42 H516 on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd of July 2026.

This is a multi-activity summer camp for children aged 5 to 18+ with disabilities.

⏰Schedule for both days:
10am – 11.30am for 5-10 year olds
12pm – 1.30pm for 11-17 year olds
2pm – 3.30pm for 18+

Cost is only €20 per participant for both days! 🤩

Roscommon Sports Partnership is delighted to announce the return of our Roscommon Rockets Club Inclusion Camp!

With games, activities, music and plenty of fun, this camp is all about encouraging participation, building confidence and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to be active and included.

• Ages 5–10: 10:00am – 11:30am
