Well done to everyone involved!

cross-curricular activity between Spanish and new Module in TY Climate Action and Sustainable Development.

Following the recent devastating floods in southern and eastern Spain, students of Spanish alongside students of our new Climate Action and Sustainable Development module collaborated to research and produce this informative display.
It features photos, facts and some analysis of the weather event.
The exhibition serves as a reminder to the school community of the effects of climate change and the importance of living with nature as sustainably as possible.
Thanks to all the TY students involved and to their teachers, Ms. Moore, Climate Action and Sustainable Development and Ms. Martin, Spanish.

After a great night in the Hawkswell last July, this is happening again on Friday 20th September in a beautiful marquee outside Brees Strandhill, with 11 musicians on stage. Rumba to dance, this time. Thanks to Culture Night, Brees, Sligo Spanish Society and Heart of Spain for their financial support.
