🎵Could your voice be the missing note? Sligo Orpheus Choir is recruiting Tenors and Basses!
Have you ever fancied singing in a choir, meeting new people and being part of something special? Now could be the perfect time to give it a try!
🎶Sligo Orpheus is a friendly, sociable choir where the singing is only part of what makes being a member so enjoyable. From concerts and festivals to trips and social occasions, there are plenty of opportunities to make new friends and create great memories along the way. Last year, we celebrated our 50th anniversary and enjoyed a fantastic trip to Milan — just two of the many experiences that make choir life so rewarding.
🎼 You don’t need to be an experienced singer or be able to read music. If you enjoy singing, can hold a tune and are willing to learn, you could be a perfect fit. We perform regularly throughout the year, with concerts, festivals and other musical events — and right now, we’d particularly love to hear from tenors and basses.
📍Rehearsals: Wednesdays (starting 2nd Sept.) at 6.45pm, Avalon Centre, Sligo
🎤 Why not come along to our Culture Night ‘A Singing Sligo’ Workshop and perform as an instant choir after an hour. You may come for the singing, but you could stay for the friendships, the laughter, the music and the adventures. 💜
