Led by Musical Director Ciara Murphy Music, hear our favourites, Danny Boy, Loch Lomond, Mo Ghile Mear and classics including a special celebration edition of Mozarts Ave Verum joined by past choir members, solosista from our choir and live string quartet. 🎻

Our final Milan concert in the beautiful setting of Villa Arconati 🇮🇹 including the International Premiere of our beautiful specially commissioned piece for our 50th anniversary year, Fós, by choral composer Dr Laura Shiels with text by our own Ciara Murphy. Well done to all our singers on a fantastic performance and our very first premiere!

Sligo Orpheus Choir celebrates 50 years singing together this year with our concerts in Milan and 50th anniversary concert on Friday 12th June in Sligo Southern Hotel.

Milan Choir Tour 2026: Concerts 🇮🇹 as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, tomorrow Sligo Orpheus Choir travel to Milan to perform three concerts across the region. Performing favourites Danny Boy, Loch Lomond and Mo Ghile Mear ☘️ as well as music from Italy, South Africa and the US.

We are especially thrilled to make our first international premiere of our commissioned piece ✨ composed by Laura Shiels Laura Sheils with text by our Musical Director Ciara Ciara Murphy Music in honour of our choir's milestone this year (premiere on Sunday 24th May).
