Larger donations can be left in black bags but please let a member of staff know.

🌟📚 Summer Stars returns!! 📚🌟
Starting in June, Cork County Council Libraries are delighted to welcome children across the county back to Summer Stars, the national summer reading programme that runs throughout June, July and August.

Summer Stars is all about enjoying reading right across the summer holidays — discovering new stories, revisiting favourite books, and making reading a fun, regular part of summer life. Children are encouraged to keep coming back to the library to explore books, e‑books, comics and more, reading at their own pace and in their own way.

The programme is free and non‑competitive, with no targets or pressure — just the joy of reading and the excitement of finding the next great book.

Drop into your local Cork County Council Library to sign up and keep the reading going all summer long.

Let’s make this a summer filled with stories, imagination and a lifelong love of reading 📖✨
