Joanne Turner is the West Cork based feltmaker behind the fabulous collection by Joanne Turner

With items ranging from felted soaps and room fragrancers, to necklaces and brooches, and even fluffy sheep; there's something for everyone.

Inspired by the texture and colour of the pebbles of the West Cork beaches, Joanne uses only the finest quality wool, alongside natural olive oil soaps and other eco friendly materials in her work.

Cnoc Pottery is the beautiful work of Annabel Seymour!

Now based near Kealkill, Annabel trained in ceramics with Yoka Kilkelly of Siramik Pottery in Carmarthenshire, Wales, before relocating to West Cork. She's inspired by the West Cork coastline and countryside; with shells, fish and sea creatures featuring heavily in her pieces.

All pottery is created by hand, making each piece special and unique, and features Annabel's original artwork.

Here at West Cork Crafts we also stock Annabels always popular greeting cards (packs of 4), tea towels, aprons and coasters.

Designed and handmade in Glengariff, West Cork by Norbert Abel; these sterling silver pieces are beautifully crafted and remain ever popular with our customers here at West Cork Crafts

Norbert has been working with silver for over 25 years, and continues to come up with new and inspired ideas.

We're looking forward to the Skibbereen Arts Festival happening later on this month!

Running from 24th July to 2nd August, there's something for everyone to enjoy; with exhibitions, theatre, films, workshops, walks, talks, and the annual big street party.

The theme for this year is A Night at the Oscars, and we'll see you there!

Next up is Sarah Britz by another of our newer members, Sarah Britz.

Sarah mixes style with sustainability in her pieces, and makes one of a kind items from repurposed materials; therefore creating less waste on the planet.

She makes clothing and bags using traditional quilt making techniques, and we stock a large range of her beautiful beaded jewellery here at West Cork Crafts

Sarah is taking part in a designer pop up event in Ma Murphys Bantry on Friday 26th June, running 12pm to 6pm, so pop in and meet the maker.
