It was such a pleasure to meet Laurel Parker today who is here on holidays. This is the second time we have met as she absolutely loves visiting Donegal all the way from the US and always purchased some of my work which I'm so grateful for.
We went on a little seaglass hunt but only found a few pieces. But the weather was lovely and it was so nice catching up.

I had a wee flutter of excitement after noticing that the little Spongeware sherd that I found last week had little bird legs on it and I thought this could be matching my legless bird. But then I remembered that the bird was found somewhere else and of course it wasn't a match. According to Schiffers Spongeware bible this print originates quite possibly from Glasgow.
So a legless bird and a headless bird are still haunting two of my favourite hunting grounds. One day I will get you!

A new set of will be available at the Rathmullan Makers Market on Saturday in the Piersheds between 12-4.
All bottles have either been dug up in a garden (big thank you for the donation to Lon Dú Artisan Bathing ) or found along the shores of Donegal. Each bottle you buy supports the work of clearing trash from the shores. A 'Wicked little Bottle' on your shelf is a discarded bottle less on our beautiful shore.

Two of the last found Spongeware sherds have dried out and their cute patterns are better visible now.

This flower is now a finished pendant and will be for sale at the next Rathmullan Makers Market on this coming Saturday in the Piersheds from 12-4.
