As we have reached the end of our programme, we would like to take the opportunity to give a heartfelt thanks to all who created for, worked on and supported In the Open | Faoin Spéir Offaly and Spectacular Vernacular.
In response to Covid-19, In the Open generated a sustained and curated programme of multidisciplinary, inclusive arts activity in public or open spaces in towns and communities in and around County Offaly.
Eco - creativity, heritage, social inclusion and progression, literary and film exploration were celebrated through a variety of mixed media and innovative new platforms.
These featured artists and their works have shared a united association with new blood, new cultures and potential that will look sharply to a shared future and consider - what collective legacy may be possible for our community to envisage today?
