Introducing the Matthew Collection

This collection was created in memory of my best friend and someone I considered my brother, Matthew. On September 16, 2018, he passed away from su***de.

Losing Matthew was the hardest thing I have ever experienced, and there have been times when that loss made me question my own purpose here. I wish I had called him more, texted him more, made more time to see him and let him know that I would always be there for him no matter what.

Please reach out to the people around you—even the ones who seem the happiest. Sometimes the people who bring the most light into a room are fighting battles no one else can see.

I think about Matthew almost every day, and I still have so many “what ifs.” Where would he be now? Would my children have gotten to meet him? Would he and my husband have become friends? What would he have accomplished? Would he have children of his own?

Su***de is a thief. It takes incredibly special people from this world and leaves behind questions that can never be answered.

Matthew was special.
Matthew was important.
Matthew was the light in the room.
Matthew’s life mattered.

I wish he could have seen how deeply he was loved and how many people believed in him.

I created these seven stickers in Matthew’s memory, hoping they might reach someone who is struggling and remind them that they are important, they are special, their life matters and people want them to stay.

I hope that if someone who is struggling sees one of these stickers, they choose to stay. I hope they choose to keep fighting. I hope they choose to survive.

Feeling extra grateful today 🥹

I recently had the honor of making 100 custom logo stickers for my friend’s ministry, and it truly meant so much to me. Every time someone trusts me to create something special for them or their business, I still can’t believe they chose me!

My Etsy orders are also becoming more consistent—and lately, I’ve been receiving orders almost every day.
