Tidy Towns organisations across the country are on RED ALERT as EP festival goers re enter society after a weekend of abandoning rubbish wherever gravity suggested.

The transition is difficult. For three days, dropping a can at your feet made it “the organisers’ problem.”

Now they’re expected to use bins and even carry their own rubbish.

Experts advise patience. If you see one looking confused with an empty cup, gently point towards a bin.

DO NOT mention recycling, it’s a known trigger.

Most should be fully house trained by Thursday, although some entitlement may linger.

One attendee, Declan, explained:
“I paid to get in, so someone else can clean it up. I pay taxes too.”

He then dropped his cup and walked away.

💰 KILDARE LOTTO WIN SPARKS POLITICAL SPECULATION

A Kildare online player has scooped €123,836 after matching five numbers plus the bonus in Saturday night’s Lotto draw.

Early this afternoon, rumours began circulating around Naas after a local councillor was reportedly spotted outside Fletchers late last night receiving several animated phone calls.

By teatime today, Facebook will have launched a full investigation.

Theories range from a local a solo politician holding the winning ticket to a mysterious syndicate allegedly involving the politician and several v**e shop owners.

Naturally, absolutely none of this has been confirmed.

The National Lottery has contacted the actual winner, while no local politician has yet come forward to announce a sudden €123,836 improvement in their personal finances — or promise to use the windfall to finally paint the Trippy Kerbs.

Congratulations to Kildare’s mystery winner. 🎉

That’s all we’re saying until the identity is confirmed.

"Bad accident at the Kerry food group roundabout and the school roundabout. Car is on its roof. Passengers don't seem injured thank God but the traffic is building up there, I'd say if you're going that way just proceed with caution".
