Venerdì 20/03 abbiamo inaugurato questa mostra nata dalla collaborazione tra e Ilaria Martinelli di . Un progetto che riflette sul corpo come territorio di memoria, consapevolezza e liberazione.

Grazie alla per averci ospitate e a tutte le persone che sono passate, che hanno guardato e condiviso questo momento con noi. Il vostro supporto è stato fondamentale.

Se non sei riuscitə a ve**re all’opening, hai ancora tempo per passare. La mostra sarà visitabile fino al 12 aprile.

On Friday 20/03 we opened this exhibition, a collaboration between Francesca Vam and Ilaria Martinelli (Changing Chains). A project that explores the body as a territory of memory, awareness and liberation.

Thank you to Libreria Zabarella for hosting us, and to everyone who came, took their time, and shared this moment with us. Your support truly means a lot.

If you couldn’t make it to the opening, there’s still time to visit. The exhibition will be on view until April 12th.

This piece comes from a place I know too well.
Rage that gets swallowed, controlled, pushed down, until it comes out all at once, usually in the wrong direction, with the wrong person.

It’s not loud all the time.
Most of the time it’s quiet, contained, almost polite. And then it explodes.

This collage is about that moment.
About what happens when something powerful isn’t given space, language or release.

I’m sharing this knowing it makes me feel a bit vulnerable.
But I’m curious, what do you see in it?
Does it resonate, disturb, mean something else entirely?

The Introspection

No matter what is unfolding around us, the knowledge that comes from looking within is ours alone.

This collage reflects on the stillness and strength of inner vision, a place where meaning forms beyond noise or distraction. Introspection becomes a kind of sanctuary, almost sacred, revealing truths that the outside world can’t reach.

As always, collage means different things depending on who is looking and has multiple layers of significance. Let me know in the comments what you see. ⬇️

Analog collage, 2020

This was one of my first collages, made in 2020, during those strange suspended months when the world felt both terrifying and impossibly quiet. I had so much time for myself, so I decided to give it a go at collage.

The lady stands closed-off, a posture that feels protective. Her head is in a cage and she's afraid to be seen and judged. The heron beside her is a symbol of the marvelous things and experiences that can be lost when we are too afraid of being seen.

Sharing it here now feels like circling back to the beginning, but this time, without hiding.
