Happy New Year 🎉🥂

The goal for this year is to tackle my personal stash and use what I have (as much as possible, I'm easily distracted by new patterns and squishy colourful yarns)

So for January I've set myself a task of finishing some WIPs and frogging some others.

Hope to share more here on social media, showing more of the yarns we have in stock, some tutorials and some more patterns inspiration over the next few months.

Thanks for all your support in 2025, here's to a happy healthy 2026, with more time spent on crafting and sharing our inspiration and ideas with each other

A pair of Instagram creators recently went viral after posting a playful video about “La Baa Baas” Ireland’s adorable, woolly answer to the popular Labubu dolls. The video sparked huge interest online, leading the creators to visit their creators at Erin Knitwear, a family-run business based in Cork.

There, they met Caroline, Billy, and John, the children of the original founders, who now run the shop and design the handmade, 100% wool "Knit Bits", better known to us as Knit Bits. Originally a side project sparked by Billy's idea to expand beyond sweaters and hats, the ‘La Baa Baas’ have since become a viral hit and are now shipped worldwide. What began as a joke online has turned into a major boost for an Irish business.

Stretchy bind off. What's your go to?

Finally cast off the body of the Ingrid Sweater, tried a new stretchy cast off method but I think it might be too stretched looking. What's your go to bind off?

WIP Wednesday..... What's your current project?

Surprise surprise I'm still working in the Ingrid Sweater by PetiteKnit. But I think I have finally got it right so hopefully no more going backwards. I did make a mistake right at the start so did single moss instead of double. I really like the simple cross created with mock cable stitches.
