Picked up the last bits for my wedding dress in Limerick today before soundcheck, and it hit me… one week before my wedding, I’ll be singing in Croke Park for Katie Taylor. 🥹

I can’t quite believe I get to be part of such a huge moment for one of the greatest female athletes of our time, and even more special to be singing alongside my gorgeous cousin Aoife Scott ❤️

Second slide is us in the studio working out our version of Amhrán na bhFiann… mouth full of biscuits, naturally 😂

And a huge thank you to the amazing people helping me feel vaguely wedding-ready amongst all the madness; Eavanna Breen for making my skin look amazing, Orlaith in 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗖 for all things wedding dress, Graham Cookie Dunne for my hair, and Kim O Sullivan for the brows. ❤️

Tune in to RTÉ2 tomorrow night to see us perform live 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

I’m heartbroken to hear of Glen Hansard’s passing this morning.

I first met Glen at one of his Christmas Eve Busk on Grafton Street many years ago, and though I was just starting out in my career he made me feel so welcome, and has done every year since.

I took this video after one of the busks in 2018. We were all walking down Grafton Street heading for a post busk pint when we bumped into Dublin GAA legend Anton O’Toole who hadn’t been well at the time. Glen recognised him instantly and, without hesitation, started singing Raglan Road to him. The whole street joined in. It was one of those magical Dublin moments that summed Glen up perfectly, his love of people, of music, and of this city.

A huge loss to Irish music and to Ireland. Thinking of Maire, little Christy, and all of Glen’s family and friends.

Rest easy, Glen. ❤️

I got to bring my wedding dress home today! 🤍👰🏻‍♀️🤍

A huge thank you to the amazing Orlaith at 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗖 in Limerick. From the very beginning, she made the whole experience feel so relaxed and enjoyable. After visiting other bridal shops where I felt a bit under pressure to make decisions, walking into The Attic was such a breath of fresh air. Orlaith took the time to really listen, offered great advice without ever being pushy, and made every appointment feel exciting and special.

Her attention to detail, experience, and genuine care helped turn a dress I loved into my dress, and I always left her shop buzzing after every appointment.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’d recommend Orlaith to any bride looking for their dress. She’s an absolute gem.

Now the countdown is really on… I can’t wait to marry Gearóid O Dea in this beautiful dress. 🤍💍
