FabFelis Designs My name is Fabienne and I was born in Switzerland to German and Luxembourgian parents. From these fabrics I then sew the products you see here.

I am a cat-obsessed textile artist based in Leitrim, Ireland
Everything is designed and sewn by myself
All designs are my own, no use of AI or 'free' images
I have my own gazebo & set-up and am fully ensured
See www.fabfelis.com for further details We (myself, my husband Wim and our then 7 cats) recently moved into a lovely house near Drumkeeran in County Leitrim in Ireland. As you can probably tell from the name and logo of my little company I love cats. I also really like bright colours :-)
I had many different jobs over the years, but one thing that always stayed constant is my love of arts and crafts, starting from when I made my own toys as a child many years ago. I tried many different mediums and materials over the years, but about 5 years ago FabFelis Designs was born when I decided to combine my love of photography, drawing, designing and sewing. My products all start either as one of my drawings or photographs, which I then edit on my laptop. The resulting files are sent off to various printing companies all over Europe, where they are professionally printed on man-made fabrics, using the sublimation method. All my products can be either hand washed or cleaned in a washing machine at 30C and line dried. The colours will stay nice and vibrant after washing. As a general rule of care you should not put any of my products permanently in a very sunny spot as UV light will eventually fade the colours. Any products made from Neoprene need a little extra care: they should never be folded or bent for a long period of time as this will permanently crease the material. As neoprene was originally designed for diving suits the material benefits from being soaked occasionally to keep it subtle. More details can be found on my website www.fabfelis.com

This coming Sunday (20.09.) will sadly be my last day at the Galway Market 😿 The council insist on a year-round attendance, which is not doable for me for various reasons (the 5h round trip being one), so I have sadly decided not to renew my Sunday license. I will miss my lovely colleagues and all of my equally lovely customers, I might apply for a summer license again for next July and August, so watch this space.
But for now if you had your eye on a colourful snood or hat or always wanted one of my double-sided cats next Sunday is your last chance to see them in person for the time being 😸

I am looking forward to taking part as a trader at Sligo Pride next Saturday 😻
