Throwing a great birthday party that will be etched in everyone’s memories needs efficient planning. If you are planning an unforgettable birthday party for your child, here is a helpful list of several factors that you must consider. Losing focus during planning is normal but when you have an effective checklist, you can get rid of your worries.
1. Consider your budget
Planning great party needs efficient planning that can be pulled off by staying within the budget. Decide how much you are willing to pay for decorations, food, lighting, entertainment and the venue.
Do not spend money unless you have charted out the requirements.
2. Prepare the Guest List
If you are inviting children who are too young, you probably need to invite their parents as well. Depending on the number guests, you have to arrange for food, invitations, party hats, bags and other things. You need to think about the entertainment options as well booking a Bouncy Castle, Obstacle Course or Slide can be a cost effective as they are used throughout the party as the children will keep going back for more. Face painters or magicians who only have a limited amount of time, to keep your guests entertained. Keep a note of your budget because the more the number of guests, the higher the expenses
3. The Party Theme
Decide the party theme by considering your child’s interests. Whether it is a superhero, an action figure, a barbie, a Disney character or pirates, put your child’s interest at the forefront of your mind. To enhance the theme consider activities that are themed based such a princess dress ups for a princess party or a themed Bouncy Castle, Slide or Obstacle course such as Peppa Pig, Princess, Star Wars.
4.Food and Drinks
Get to know whether anyone has special food needs or food allergy. Go for a safe bet by keeping a menu that is loved by all. Pizzas, sausages, chocolates, ice creams, chips and munchies would be a good selection. Hire a catering service if there are too many guests.
5. Entertainment
You must plan for both outdoor and indoor entertainment, just in case the weather is not that great outside. For outdoor games, Bouncy Castles, Obstacle courses and Slides are some popular choices. For indoor entertainment activities, you can arrange for face painting, a magic show, clown or a puppet show.
6. Party bags
Decide if you want to buy premade party bags or pick up goodies yourself. You can include toys, sweets, accessories, stationery and other fun items in the party bag. Keep it blended with the theme of the party.
7. Helpers
Are you sure you will be able to manage everything single handedly? Well, if you are not, involve your friends and family members. Let them know the date beforehand so that they can spare some time in setting up the party.
