✨️ One week to go! ✨️ Meet your producers for The Cat’s Meow next Friday October 27th:

Arlene Caffrey is a pint-sized bundle of sparks originally from Co. Louth. She is most famous for being an OG pole dance legend; she became the first ‘Miss Pole Dance Ireland’ in 2007, and is also Miss Burlesque Ireland 2016/17.

She has also worked extensively over the years in helping to promote and develop pole dancing into the art form that it is today in Ireland, by appearing on more radio, TV and media appearances than she can count.

Her style of Burlesque combines gravity defying antics with more body waves, high kicks and leg twirls than you can shake a stick at, with a dash of comedy, sexistential dread and (sometimes) depressing hipster music.

You’ll be seeing splits for days…

Bringing her love of sexy flexy acrobatic antics, she has performed all over Ireland and the world, and has also recently performed live on stage with Snoop Dogg.

When Arlene is not gallivanting around the world, you can find her online teaching all things sexy dance, at Irish Pole Dance Academy.

Meet your producers for The Cat’s Meow on October 27th:

‘The smile of the Emerald Isle’: Kat started her Burlesque journey in 2012 on the Dublin scene, winning ‘Best Newcomer’ in the Dublin Burlesque Festival. In 2014 the prestigious first ever ‘Miss Burlesque Ireland’ title followed.

In 2017 Kat won the ‘Best Troupe’ award as one half of ‘Double Standards’, a Dance and Burlesque Duo in the Dublin Burlesque Festival. Over the Years, Kat has travelled all over Ireland and abroad to perform in a variety of shows and festivals.

She has been involved in producing themed Burlesque and Cabaret shows such as ‘Kat’s Annual Vintage Tea party’, ‘Stars and Strips’ and most recently a long running underground Speakeasy show ‘The Botanical Boudoir’(but we can’t talk about that!).

Kat is known for her signature performance style of marrying comedy with classic Burlesque vibes.

Joining us again on stage on October 27th, we have proud Wicklow-woman ! ✨️

Reigning Miss Pin Up Ireland, former Miss Burlesque Dublin, Miss Pin Up Milan and now new mammy, Santina Spitfire, is a buxom, cheeky, long boobed, orangutan t***y all-round good gal who embrace her curves and handfuls of cellulite. Her often saucy tongue-in-cheek, sexy style of Burlesque will entertain and crack you up.

With over a decade long successful career performing around the world, modelling, hosting and producing headline Burlesque shows such as 'The Honey Drops Deadliest Dames' at the Limerick Fringe, Santina Spitfire lives her life by the unbiased ageless, shapeless, timelessness and most importantly inclusiveness of the Irish Burlesque scene.

As well as this, she identifies as being a BIG saucy vegan and crazy cat lady!

The “Beauty, Grace and a whole lot of Face” of Irish Burlesque, Bella Curve is a multi-award winning international burlesque star with unparalleled elegance!

A classically trained ballerina who has traded her tutu for tassels, her work is a fusion of dance styles that never fails to excite and delight her audience. Performing burlesque since 2016, Bella is Miss Burlesque Ireland 2019-22.

Expect a derrière covered in rhinestones and feathers from this one as she tantalises and teases you with her seductive charm.

It’s officially spooky season! 🎃
Time to start getting excited for our show on Friday October 27th!

We’re delighted to start revealing our cast. First up, we welcome Goth queen !

Putting the "bum" into bump n grind, Scarlett Van Tassel is an Autistic burlesque bombshell and raging l***o from Dublin. Nicknamed “The Purple People Eater” for her ferocious stage presence, Scarlett takes no prisoners and leaves a trail of destruction in her wake...

Performing since 2011, Scarlett has shimmied her way across Ireland and taken to international stages, from Edinburgh to Ibiza.

Ever the student, Scarlett has trained with the Irish Burlesque Academy since its humble beginnings in 2009, and has taken workshops with the Legend of Burlesque, Miss Satan’s Angel, Neo-burlesque superstar Dirty Martini, Cabaret and Vaudeville master Armitage Shanks, and international showwomen extraordinaire Havana Hurricane, Miss Polly Rae, Kiki DeVille, and Sheena Miss Demeanour. Scarlett also recently had mentorship from international Burlesque star and singer, Sapphira of The World Burlesque Academy.

If you ever frequented legendary LGBT bar The George on a pre-pandemic Friday night, you may well have spotted her up on the balcony, dancing her sparkly arse off as one of the Glitterati gogo dancers.

When not stunning audiences with her showstopping trademark brand of "Dirty Classic" burlesque, Scarlett can be found plotting and producing the q***r cabaret, burlesque and Variety show, The Coochie Club.

Expect bodacious bumps, gratuitous grinds, fierce face and a Goth twist from this 21st century showwoman.

“What is Burlesque?”: Although we’ve been making shows at for a while now, we know that some folks out there may still have this question!

So what can you expect from our Burlesque & Cabaret show?

The atmosphere at a Burlesque & Cabaret show is inclusive, friendly and non-judgemental.

The audience is made up of plenty of couples and women in the crowd. So, it should be a comfortable mix of people no matter who you are and how you identify.

If you're someone who loves live entertainment, a bit of sparkle and magic, and you love to celebrate self-expression, Burlesque is for you!

Burlesque & Cabaret is about entertainment, spectacle and creating a sense of wonder. You can expect to see on stage plenty of dancing and sparkly costumes, but there’s so much more than that to it.

You will have the pleasure of watching an array of acts by our individual performers, who are made up of life-long professional dancers and award-winning performing artists.

Some performances will be light-hearted and comedic, others will be more subtle and seductive...

We don’t want to give too many spoilers, but here’s a little of what you can expect:

❤️Deep belly laughs
