Soft rose tones, sweet prints and plenty of cosy places to curl up 🌸🐀

This large matching set was handmade to order in a warm dusty-rose cotton, combined with delicate lavender and sweet treat prints.

The collection includes a variety of hammocks, hideouts, beds and hanging sleeping spaces, giving the little residents plenty of choice for climbing, hiding, playing and napping. Every item was designed to complement the others while still having its own character.

I love creating sets like this because they turn the whole cage into one cosy little world. Each piece is carefully handmade and can be adapted in size, shape and fabric for an individual order. ❤️

A fresh little summer setup in mint and soft blue 🪿🌿

This full cage set was handmade to order, using a delicate little geese print paired with a beautiful mint cotton. The customer chose several different hideouts, hammocks and cosy sleeping spaces, all designed to work together as one matching collection.

Every piece was carefully sewn, reinforced and finished with secure eyelets, hooks and chains, ready to make the cage both comfortable and lovely to look at. 💚

I really enjoy creating complete custom sets, especially when one fabric brings all the different pieces together so beautifully.

Custom orders are welcome. You can choose the products, sizes and fabrics to suit your cage and your little ones. 🐀

A little peek behind the scenes of Nest Tales ✂️💚

Every finished item starts with a pile of fabric, a stack of pattern pieces, and a lot of planning.
The first photo shows the fabrics being prepared and pressed. The second is the cutting stage, where all the future hammocks, beds, and houses begin to take shape. And the final photo is the reward: a growing mountain of finished pieces ready for their new homes. 🐀✨

This large custom order is slowly coming together, one stitch at a time. Seeing all the pieces stacked together makes me so excited to photograph each model properly and share them with you soon.
For now, here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the process. From fabric and patterns to cozy finished accessories, every item is handmade with care. 💕

One of my favorite things lately has been creating tiny things for tiny paws.
I started printing little houses, tunnels, and accessories for the babies on a 3D printer, and honestly… watching these pieces slowly appear layer by layer feels almost magical ⭐️
I love that I can make things not only cozy, but also shaped exactly the way I imagine them. Tiny hideouts, little bridges, sleeping spots… all made with the thought of curious little rats exploring them someday.
Seeing handmade textile pieces and bright printed accessories together in the cage makes their space feel even more alive 🌸
I think this is only the beginning.

A little story behind Nest Tales 🌿

I’ve been sewing handmade items for little pets for over a year and a half now ✨

Rats, ferrets and other tiny companions always felt very special to me.
They may be small, but they bring so much warmth, personality and comfort into our lives 🐭

One day I realized something:
pet stores are full of beds and houses for cats and dogs…
but small pets rarely get the same cozy little spaces made especially for them.

That’s how Nest Tales was born 🍃

Now I create soft hammocks, cozy homes and tiny hideouts made with love, comfort and care for little paws and curious whiskers ✂️✨
