Our Pride invites everyone to join us in this unique and inclusive celebration. Let no religion keep us apart. Come together to celebrate as one diverse community. It was established by LGBT activist Dave Thomas and his husband Patrick Bracken in 2014, and was initially called 'Arklow Pride'. In January 2015, Arklow Pride was rename

Please join us and share our dream, our mission, our work in bringing the Community together in celebration of Wicklow Pride. Please note that while we welcome constructive feedback on the Festival and any of our projects, we do not accept or allow bullying, insulting, inappropriate, personal, negative or vulgar comments on our Social Media Accounts. These will be deleted. Those that persist in doing so, will be removed from the page permanently. Everyone should be treated with respect.

We are absolutely buzzing to announce that Wicklow Pride has made the long list for FOUR awards at The Galas LGBTQ+ Awards 2026! 🏆✨

Here is a look at our long list nominations:

A massive THANK YOU to every single person who took the time to nominate us for the long list. We appreciate it more than words can say. Your support fuels us! 💖

Now, we definitely don't do this work for the recognition or the trophies. Our biggest win, and the whole reason we do what we do, is creating safe spaces across County Wicklow where q***r people can feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
..but having said that, this kind of recognition sure does feel incredibly nice! 🥰

We will continue working tirelessly to make Wicklow a safe, welcoming, and vibrant place for the entire q***r community. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We are deeply heartbroken by the tragedy that unfolded at Berlin Pride yesterday. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of the woman who lost her life, and we hope that all the people and families affected by this horrific act can eventually find peace and healing. Our thoughts are with the injured and everyone touched by this senseless violence.

Pride was born out of protest, but above all, Pride should be a safe space for the q***r community to celebrate who we are, freely and without fear. No one should ever have to risk their safety or their life simply to live authentically and visibly.

Sending all our strength, love, and solidarity from Wicklow. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

🌈 Dipping & Sipping in Arklow! 🤩🏝️

Back on the Summer Solstice we headed to the Cove in Arklow for our first ever evening dip 😍☀️💕 Thank you again to everyone who came to enjoy the water and chill chats on a gorgeous Sunday evening! 😎🏳️‍🌈

Our next dip will be back in the morning as we head to Greystones in a week’s time! 👀🏊

🌈 A fabulous (and hot 🥵) day of marching and solidarity ✊🏳️‍⚧️

Yesterday Wicklow Pride were honoured to march at Trans & Intersex Pride Dublin 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🇵🇸 alongside the forever iconic , showing our support for and solidarity with our trans and intersex siblings. 🫶💕 Kudos to the organisers as well as all the speakers who spoke to the urgency of the moment with such galvanising energy and clarity — what a day! 🏳️‍⚧️🫶🏳️‍⚧️🫶🏳️‍⚧️
