A big thank you to a local Headford man who shared these lovely photos from Sunday night at Headfest 2026 ๐Ÿ“ธ

He captured some wonderful moments from the evening and wanted to make sure the photos found their way back to the fantastic people featured in them.

We have so many talented people in so many pockets of our community, and it's always great to see people generously sharing their time, creativity and talents with others.

We would love your feedback ๐Ÿ’›

Headfest is built by the community, for the community, and your thoughts really matter to us.

Whether you came to one event, spent the weekend with us, brought the kids along, danced in the marquee, visited the craft fair, bought a coffee, volunteered, sponsored, donated or simply supported us online, we would be so grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete our feedback form.

Your feedback helps us understand what worked, what we can improve, and how we can keep growing Headfest for the whole community.

Thank you again for being part of it. We truly appreciate your support.

Headfest:

What a weekend. What a community. What a festival.

From everyone involved in Headfest, we just want to say the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to every single person who came out, showed up, bought a ticket, shared a post, liked a photo, volunteered, sponsored, donated, performed, helped behind the scenes, brought the kids, called in for a coffee, wandered through the craft fair, supported an event, or simply added to the atmosphere.

Headfest is not just a festival. It is community. It is people. It is familiar faces, new faces, local pride, music, laughter, kindness, generosity and support all coming together in one incredible weekend.

The support this year has honestly meant so much to us all. When you see crowds turning up, families enjoying themselves, volunteers giving their time, sponsors backing us, and the whole community getting behind it, it reminds us exactly why we do this.

Festivals like Headfest do not happen by accident. They happen because people care. They happen because a community believes in keeping something special alive.

So to everyone who played even the smallest part, please know this: we truly appreciate you. Your support keeps Headfest going, growing and giving back.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

A huge bualadh bos for you all. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธโค๏ธ A huge thank you to Tina and everyone involved in Headford Harriers for all the work on another fantastic Headfest 8K Road Race.

What people see on race day are the runners crossing the finish line, the smiles, the atmosphere and the great community spirit. What many don't see are the weeks and months of planning, organising, route preparation, stewarding, registrations, sponsorship, safety planning and all the work that goes on behind the scenes to make an event like this possible.

Tina worked tirelessly to organise this year's race and her dedication, along with the support of Headford Harriers, the Headfest Committee, community volunteers and the wider community, ensured another hugely successful event. Their hard work has helped make the Headfest 8K one of the standout events of the festival and a race that continues to grow year after year.

Thank you also to all the runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, stewards and supporters who played their part in making the event such a success. A special thank you to all our sponsors, and in particular to the event's main sponsor, West Midlands Credit Union, for their continued support.

Thank you to John O'Connor for these fantastic photographs from the day. You can view the full race album on Flickr at 77edenhill - https://shorturl.at/z0ff0๐Ÿ“ธ

Well done everyone. Roll on Headfest 8K 2027! ๐Ÿ‘

Headfest 2026 was our biggest festival yet! Over 8,000 people joined us across six incredible days over the June Bank Holiday weekend, making this year's festival the most successful in Headfest history.

From the sold-out Jenny Greene and Qween concerts, to sporting competitions, family events, heritage activities, guided tours, the Food & Craft Fair and our new Lough Corrib programme celebrating Land, Water and Air, there was truly something for everyone.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, funders, community groups, participants, local businesses and everyone who attended and supported the festival. Your support is what makes Headfest possible.
