The Sunken garden at Newtownbarry House is approx 2 acres, of colourful, walled flower garden that includes a formal oval pool, a fountain and a series of sweetly-scented flower beds filled with shrubs and herbaceous perennials and enclosed by lines of neatly-clipped dwarf box hedging. Opening times for 2012: June, July, August 2012 Tuesday- Sunday including the Bank Holidays Closed Mondays 2-6p.m Open at other times by prior appointment.
