The National 1798 Rebellion Centre will now be open on Weekends and Bank Holidays!

Starting from Saturday the 5th of June and continuing through the summer season, you can now visit our award exhibition between 12.00pm and 5.00pm every Weekend and Bank Holiday.
(Last admission each day at 4.15pm)

That's not all we have to offer, we also have delicious HB Ice Cream aswell as Tea/Coffee and cold drinks, all of which can be enjoyed at our picnic tables outside!

So why drop in this weekend and enjoy all the National 1798 Rebellion Centre has to offer.

It's a big week in the village's history. This coming Sunday night marks the beginning of the 1798 Rebellion and the Battle of Prosperous. Throughout the week we will tell the story of how things unfolded and lead to not just the first engagement of the rebellion, but also the first won for the United Irishmen.
