NDTA Dance A cross border dance, acting & singing school offering classes in Blackrock, Louth & Newry. Children and adults of all ages and abilities are catered for.

Newry Dance and Theatre Arts are a well established dance and theatre arts school. Classes started in 2002 and since then we have grown from strength to strength. Dancers have been selected for National Dance Teams; competed at and received first place at both N.Ireland and All Ireland competitions; partcipated in festivals and performed at special events and end of year show-cases. We are very pr

oud of all our dancers and theatre arts students and encourage involvement for fun as well as health benefits. We staged Newry's first ever 'Flashmob' in the Quays shopping centre which was a huge success. Come along and try out our classes. We are so excited to officially launch our 2026/27 Newry Dance Theatre Arts Timetable! 💜🩷

There are a few slight time changes to some of our classes, so please take a moment to check the new timetable carefully.

Whether your child is taking their very first dance steps or looking to build their confidence and develop their skills, we’d love to welcome them to the NDTA family.

Get ready to level up your training this summer with Newry Dance Theatre Arts’ Dance Intensive! Expect high-energy classes, electric vibes, and the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s top professionals.

✨ Our guest teachers are professional dancers and choreographers with extensive industry experience, bringing the latest commercial styles, performance skills, and creative inspiration straight into the studio.

A huge congratulations to our incredible Contemporary Team on achieving a Top 20 finish at the Dance World Cup Finals in Dublin!

To perform on the world stage and represent Team Ireland, Newry Dance, and Blackrock Dance Theatre Arts is an outstanding accomplishment. The dedication, passion, and hard work these dancers have shown throughout the season has been nothing short of inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing parents for their support every step of the way, and to our wonderful teachers Catherine, Danielle and Amy for their guidance, encouragement, and belief in our dancers.
