✉️ [email protected] She grew up in a theatre family and started performing at the age of 13. At 14 after forming a four piece band, she released her debut album 'Only Breathing' which she paid for from the money she made busking on the streets of Prague. At 15 she st

arted playing all her concerts solo and since then has supported musicians such as Glen Hansard, Dan Owen, Deep Blue Something, Ivan & the Parazol and Ye Vagabonds. In 2019 Zoe released her first solo single High Expectations which was baptised by Tonya Graves. In the same year that summer she has done 17 performances with the Footsbarn Travelling Theatre company in the period of 5 days at the Glastonbury festival and has appeared on the BBC with them. In 2020 she has starred and cooperated in Lemoncello‘s official video for their song Libra, filmed and directed by Myles O’Reilly. Later that year Zoe has become a part of Footsbarn theatre's latest production 'The Crock of Gold' in cooperation with Glen Hansard and Breanndán Ó Beaglaoich, playing one of the main roles, while also writing some of the music. The show has toured locally in France and in the summer 2022 is planned to tour around Ireland. Zoe is currently studying the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where she is still also performing live music and will have her next album coming out this summer.

Cat, you had me from the moment I saw you first, singing on Myles O'Reilly stage at Body & Soul in 2022.
I came up to you after with confidence and shyness at the same time. After a few words and a magical energy exchange, I knew we’d be friends.

I was lucky enough we stayed in touch and even played a few gigs together.
Whether for a full house at Workman’s, Dublin, getting up at our Footsbarn Travelling Theatre tent at Electric Picnic or for less than 10 people in a funky Carlow club, you always gave it your all and danced with the stars.

I thought of you this past week, as a fighter, a strong mother and a beautiful friend.
You are free of pain up there now, with all the other very special souls that have left us…
I went for a swim in Dublin for you today, the waves were pretty feckin’ big, I felt you in every one of them.

Till we meet again, friend.

I have been singing this song since I was 12, whether I was busking on the streets, in-front of a crowd or all alone in my room. It’s always given me a feeling of comfort and strong emotion. It’s such a powerful piece of music and words, in what I would expect nothing less, since it’s written by the songwriting masters Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. Right now more than ever, this song means so much to me. This one’s for you, Glen ❤️

I’m not ready to write or feel any of this yet, but I have been getting a lot of thoughtful messages from everyone… So even in this state of still such shock and disbelief I want to express at least what does come to me now…

You bought me my first guitar and taught me the first chords, how to fall in love with music and so much more
my first analog camera and how to take real cool ass photos
you showed me most of what i know and stand by
in songwriting, performing and life
singing, joking and messing beside you and always hearing your cheeky laugh
always growing, fighting and challenging each other
you often said you were still like a child
and impulsive as that, you went off and ran…

I can not believe that you are not here for the next chapter of all our lives… But i do know you are still there with us all of the time ❤️
