Today was a day out for the Dowling Gourounlian’s. It started with an AMAZING trip to 3Olympia to see Bluey: The Live Show. The girls were so excited & loved every minute of it, especially the dancing. Honestly, seeing their happy little faces warms my heart so much. In years to come, I will look back on days like today ♥️ We then had a lovely lunch, which Blu napped through most of, followed by a walk around the city with some ice cream. It’s what the Summer Holidays are all about. I can’t believe Blake is back to pre-school in 10 days. The Summer has ABSOLUTELY FLOWN. We aren’t ready for it to be over just yet 💚🥰💙

Thank you all so much for your gorgeous messages the past two days! Hosting the Six O'Clock Show with my beautiful husband was amazing. Now back home, trying to put Blake to bed, but let's be honest, I mean, seriously, there is always one parent. There is always one. I give up! 🤣🤣🤣

Happy 78th Birthday to my idol, my icon, my maman, tati, mayrik 💚

You know how much I love you, and somehow there will never be enough words to explain what you truly mean to me.

The reason I’m sharing these pictures today is that they tell such an important part of your story. As a parent, you make sacrifices for your family that sometimes nobody sees, nobody fully understands, and nobody could ever repay. And that is exactly what you did.

You were a shining star. You had the most incredible soprano voice, a beautiful career in opera and such a bright future ahead of you. Then one little rascal came along… ME! 🤣 And suddenly, life changed.

You put your dreams to one side. You changed your path, changed your career and gave everything to building your family, to looking after Nazik and me, without hesitation. Now that I’m a parent myself, I understand that sacrifice on a completely different level, and it makes me love and admire you even more.

I can only imagine what it must have felt like to walk away from something you loved so deeply. But what you created instead was a family filled with love, strength, music, memories and everything we needed to become who we are today.

And through all these years, whenever I hear that breathtaking soprano voice come out of you, I’m reminded that the shining star was always there. She never disappeared.
