Marmalade Films We're a film & TV producer of character driven stories.

A Documentary & Commercial production company, we tell stories....factual ones

The art form of documentary film has an important and valuable role in our society and should be used as a tool to promote discourse and broaden access, experience and perspective thereby creating understanding and respect. We always seek to inform, educate and entertain in order to provide a window on the world that i

s a contemplation of digested experience rather than a bombardment of sensation. Our primary objective is to help people relate to each other by producing insightful and empathic factual stories with conviction.

Director Tadhg O'Sullivan on collaborating with Brenda Fricker in The Swallow "finding someone in Brenda who had the presence and charisma to hold the attention for a whole film was the key to everything."

Collaboration lies at the heart of film and The Swallow would not have been possible without the help of two amazing and incredibly generous artists, Bernadette Kiely and Patricia Hurl who's work and studio bring the world of Brenda Fricker's character to life in the film.

This week you can still see The Swallow in the Film Institute (IFI), and Mayo Movie World and Arc Cinema Ennis so be sure to catch it before it finishes its cinema run.
