The Irish Composers’ Collective (formerly the Young Composers’ Collective) was founded in 2004 and is committed to creating high-quality performances of music by its composer-members. An entirely democratic group, the ICC has over 70 members from backgrounds as diverse as jazz, electronica and traditional music. The ICC is a true community, providing support structures for composers and is, in par

Due to phenomenal demand, we are bringing our ICC:20 Duos concert to Dublin.

A sold-out concert in saw the world premier of 6 new compositions by 12 of Irelands' top emerging composers who were paired off and tasked with writing 10 minutes of music.

If you missed our Limerick concert, now is your chance to hear and experience these new pieces of music which will be performed by the composers themselves.

We are thrilled to announce our first concert of 2024! - Taking place in the The Hunt Museum in Limerick City on the 25th of May.

This year, the Irish Composers’ Collective Icc Backstage celebrating its 20th anniversary with a series of concerts taking place throughout Ireland. To kick off the series, the ICC will be traveling to Limerick to premiere several new pieces of music written specifically for a variety of eclectic duos.

Twelve of Ireland’s top emerging composers have paired off and written several new musical works that they will perform during the concert. The duos have a mix of musical backgrounds and creative practices, which will ensure a varied and enjoyable programme of music.
