This week, we’re shining a light on Pilgrim Sound, a boutique recording space built and run by none other than Irish punk legend Pete Holidai (The Radiators from Space / Trouble Pilgrims)

After retiring from his day job, Pete transformed a lifetime of vintage gear into a high-end recording sanctuary for emerging and established talent.

🎙️ “I try to encourage every artist to capture a performance they’ll be proud of forever… no pressure, right?”

From guitar-driven bands to singer-songwriters, Pete has shaped sessions full of atmosphere, energy and soul. One standout?
🎷 “Jason Douglas laid down improvised sax for my solo album. Daydream Girl was pure magic.”

Pete believes vinyl still matters, and he’s not alone.
