September to December are definitely my busiest period, and getting busier each year.
I've so much going on at the moment I have to keep reminding myself what craft I'm doing with each different group.

This week alone has consisted of:

Woolly witches
Painted pots
A couple of mosaic tile classes
Clay Halloween wreaths x 2
Pompom making
Watercolour painting
Bedazzling
Bag customisation
And noodle painting!!!

I'm out of breath just thinking about it all!!
The weekend still has a party to come...and then there's next week, the last week of this term of craft club.

Roll on Christmas! It's only 9 weeks away...🫣

We've spent the week bedazzling in craft club this week 💎♦️🔸🔹💎

This has been a very popular craft, especially with the older children. It's very fashionable to bedazzle things at the moment 🌟

I gave everyone a compact mirror and we used special glue to add a gem design to the front.
Of course Halloween was a popular theme this week.🎃👻🦇💀🕸️🕷️🍭

A lovely end to our recent block of classes with Womens Shed Clogherhead was creating these beautiful Iris folding stars 🌟

Iris folding is a paper craft which involves folding bits of paper and placing the folds along a simple pattern. It's new to most people and very enjoyable.

We did a star design because these ladies have all been stars every week🌟, but also, they very sadly lost one of their members recently and I thought a star would be a nice tribute to her 🤍

Thanks ladies for being so wonderful, keep on shining 🌟🌟🌟

I'm delighted to have been invited to host TWO Halloween kids workshops in The Bare Food Company on behalf of The Cottage Market Drogheda for 🎃🦇👻🧟

This will take place on October 30th as part of the

The first workshop is for children aged 5+ and we'll be making clay wind-up Halloween monsters.

The second workshop is for children aged 7+ and we'll be making a creepy marble maze game.

Both workshops must be booked through Eventbrite (link in the attached post).

Places are limited so make sure to book a place. It's a great addition to your visit to see the lights 🌟
