Dún Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts Dún Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts was founded in 1974 by Prof Gerard Gillen.

Recitals take place on Summer Sundays at 8pm in St Michael's Church Dún Laoghaire.

Meet the Artist: Sarah Kim

🎼 Australian organist of Korean origin, Sarah Kim was born in Germany and is now based in Paris. An award-winning performer, she has appeared at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Notre-Dame Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Sydney Opera House.

🎓 A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Sarah studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard, and later specialised in early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

🎵 She regularly performs with leading orchestras and ensembles across Europe and currently serves as Organist at l’Oratoire du Louvre in Paris.

📆 Sarah Kim performs with us this Sunday 21st June in collaboration with Pipeworks at St Michael’s Church, Dún Laoghaire.

Meet the Artist: Carole O'Connor

🎼 A distinguished recitalist, Carole has performed in many of Ireland’s leading venues including the National Concert Hall, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Galway Cathedral, and St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral. She also performs as part of an organ duo with Patrice Keegan, appearing together at venues and festivals across Ireland.

⛪ Carole is accompanist to NCH Cór na nÓg and serves as Organist and Choir Director at Whitefriar Street Church, Dublin.

🎵 She was Artistic Director of the Dún Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
