I am an Irish artist living and working in the south of Ireland, in beautiful West Cork. I moved here when I was 23 years old and married a fisherman. Watching the sea and weather was just a normal part of life and this has influenced my work. I paint in oils, acrylics, pastels and also love charcoal, inks and watercolour. When I paint the important focus for me is a combination of reality, history, folklore, atmosphere and colour.
