🚁 Connemara Road Trip! 🌍✨

It’s been a while since I last posted—between storms, work, and life, I haven’t had much time to get out and fly. But with the good weather finally rolling in, the drone is back in the air!

We took a road trip through Connemara, Co. Galway, stopping at Maam Cross, Clifden, Sky Road (Wild Atlantic Way), Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey, and The Quiet Man Bridge.

📍 Maam Cross – Known as the "Gateway to Connemara," this remote crossroad is surrounded by rugged mountains, lakes, and vast boglands. It's a historic stop along the old Galway-to-Clifden railway line and is famous for its traditional livestock fair, which has been held for centuries.

🏰 Kylemore Abbey – Built in the late 1800s by Mitchell Henry as a romantic gift for his wife, this neo-Gothic castle later became a Benedictine monastery. It’s now one of Ireland’s most picturesque landmarks, featuring stunning lakeside views, Victorian walled gardens, and rich history.

🌉 The Quiet Man Bridge – This charming stone bridge near Maam Cross gained fame in the 1952 classic The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara. A must-visit for film lovers retracing scenes from the beloved movie.

It was a fantastic day exploring some of the best spots in Connemara! Can’t wait to put together some amazing footage—stay tuned! 🎥

St. Colman’s Cathedral, the iconic structure overlooking the picturesque town of Cobh, is a masterpiece of neo-Gothic architecture. Its majestic spire and intricate details have made it a standout feature of the Irish skyline.

As a kid, I used to stare up at this incredible cathedral and imagine Batman perched on its peak, watching over us all by night. That childhood vision inspired today’s video, showcasing the cathedral under beautiful wintery skies.

Discover the chilling history of Kinnitty Castle in County Offaly, where ancient beauty meets eerie tales. Originally built in 1209, this majestic castle has seen its fair share of dark events. Destroyed and rebuilt in 1922, it still holds the echoes of its past.

The most terrifying presence is that of the Phantom Monk, believed to be the spirit of a 14th-century monk from the days when an abbey stood on these grounds. Known for his shadowy figure, he is often seen wandering the castle, particularly in the dungeon and the banquet hall. Guests and staff alike have experienced unexplainable cold spots, strange whispers, and even apparitions. Some have reported hearing ghostly chanting in the dead of night. The castle’s haunted history makes it one of Ireland’s most spine-chilling destinations.

First Night Flight Success! ✈🌌

Tonight was a special milestone as I took my first-ever night flight to capture the breathtaking Northern Lights over Passage West & Cork Co. Cork, Ireland.

This was definitely a challenging shot, especially since I'm still learning the ropes of nighttime photography, but I'm thrilled with how it turned out. It's even more special knowing I captured this beauty so close to home!

Excited to continue improving and sharing more of these moments with you all. 🌟
