A mother of many and a grandmother of many more. After taking time to attend college in Waterford Institute of Technology, and completing with a Bachelors Honours Degree 1:1 in Visual Art. During this academia, I spent my time crafting art pieces with the use of fabric, more specifically, wool. I began crocheting around animal skulls, an artistic endeavour that allowed me to question the fundament

als of the art realm and what it means to be an artist in a modern world. Some of the artistic routes I have gone down ranges with many mixed media. I have also participated in Summer camps and helping children with special needs to encourage people of all ages and diversities to pursue a creative life. Now currently, after many years of hosting art exhibitions in Banks Studios, Lismore and Waterford where I had the availability to showcase many pieces of work that I have created since stepping into the world of being a professional artist, I tend to question the art realm and fashion industry by creating Plush Toys and also hats and scarves with a range of colour. Art to bring to the streets in your own wear. I now pass this tradition of Heirlooms down to you. A world where once everything was consumed in such of a less manner, lets carry on the tradition of passing hand-me-downs and heirlooms for more generations to come. Lets not live in a throw away generation and respect the craft of artists and creatives who add to the colour and beauty of this world.
