A community orchard can provide fruit to share, a home for pollinators, a place for children to learn and something a whole community can care for together.

At the heart of the 100 Heritage Orchards Project is a simple idea: to turn shared spaces into something living, meaningful and lasting.

Together with .ie and Glenisk brand ambassador we’re inviting communities across Ireland to help bring 100 heritage orchards to life.

Schools, GAA clubs, Tidy Towns groups, community gardens, church grounds and other shared green spaces can all be nominated. Selected communities will be supported by Irish Seed Savers through planning, planting and caring for their orchard.

Every orchard begins with one person who cares enough to take the first step. 💛
