The Earl's Horse is coming along nicely - silk over cane. It is for a play about the legend of Gearoid Earla trapped beneath Lough Gur, written by storyteller John Carew for the project. I can't wait to see it brought to life by the actors.

I made a wish and it came true! Look at this net-like golden orb woven by a master weaver, a weevil, on dock seeds. I'd seen a video of the weevil larva spinning it's chrysalis and marvelled and longed to see it and then today while harvesting seeds, there it was!
