We can finally officially announce the dates for the revived Cuisle Cheoil Weekend in Gorey. The 2026 festival will run from Thursday August 20th to Sunday August 23rd. It will feature recitals , music and singing sessions, workshops in various instruments and in singing/dancing, a set-dancing céilí and lectures and presentations, all taking place around Gorey's Main Street. Full listings and schedules will be uploaded soon.

Well done to everyone on another great day in Bannow for the County Fleadh 2026.

Today we had 4 x Under 12 groups , 2 x U12 Ceili bands and 4 x Over 18 groups taking the stage.

Congratulations to our U12 Gold group taking 3rd recommended, U12 Ceili band Gold with a 3rd recommendation and also to our Over 18 purple group receiving a 3rd recommendation.

Huge thanks to Aileen ,John, Ríona, Lorna, Lisa, Rachel, Sarah, Emma, Gráinne, Mag, Catríona, Alex, Mollie & Laura for giving so generously of their time to all of these groups.

Congratulations to everyone at Bannow CCÉ for hosting a fantastic weekend and for winning overall branch award.

Well done to everyone in their solo, duet & trio competitions and the very best of luck to everyone at the Leinster Fleadh in Portlaoise in June.

Well done to everyone that performed today at Wexford County Fleadh in Carrig on Bannow.

Today saw the 12-15 and 15-18 groups and bands take to the stage, and what an amazing job they all did. Well done to each and every one of them.

Congratulations to the 12-15 purple group who placed 3rd, the 12-15 Ceili band placing 2nd and the 15-18 group taking a 3rd recommendation.

A million thanks to Aideen, Aileen, Anne-Marie, Eoin, Lorna, Niamh & Nicola for giving so freely of their time to prepare all of these groups and bands to such a high standard.

Thanks to all at Bannow CCÉ for a wonderful day. We do it all again tomorrow with the U12 and O18 groups & bands.

Bannow C.C.É. look forward to hosting Fleadh Charman 2026 from 15th-17th May in Carrig on Bannow. We look forward to holding a concert in memory of Mrs. Torpey as part of our Fleadh Launch on May 10th. All are welcome.
