Here are the fantastic group of people who make up the Chord on Blues presenting a cheque for €8658.12 to Michael Jordan of the Hope Cancer Support Centre last night in Ferns.

Last night the Chord on Blues presented Michael Jordan from the Hope Cancer Support Centre Enniscorthy with a cheque for €8658.12. A fantastic total that was raised through the generosity of the people of Ferns and further afield at the Chord on Blues event on the 24th April in the Courtyard, Ferns and on an i donate page.

The Hope Cancer Support Centre, based in Enniscorthy, provides a range of services to people whose lives have been touched by a Cancer diagnosis. We hope that this contribution goes some small way to supporting the vital work they do in the community.

Mary and all the singers in Chord on Blues would like to thank you all for making our fundraiser on Friday 24th April in the Courtyard Ferns, a great success. We had a wonderful evening.

However, any event doesn't happen on its own. We had help from many people collecting in pubs, collecting the donations on the door and the lovely balloon designs. So a big thankyou to Niamh, Jessica, Ann Marie, Ellen, Rachel, Kelly and Nicola for all your help!

We could not have had the evening without Trademark. A fantastic band and great bunch of people who always help us out.

A shout out to the Courtyard and the Hope Cancer Support Centre for all their support.

And last but not least thankyou to everybody who donated either online or one the night. It all helps a fantastic organisation.
